A long-awaited 3D printer came into our hands, which we have already written about more than once. The previously used information received from the manufacturer was useful, but - no description can be compared with personal experience. So, the first live photo review Picaso 3D Designer X Pro .

First introduced at the Top 3D Expo conference, after the event the printer immediately came to us and became the object of study and testing.

Before printing, you need to fill the plastic, for this we select the corresponding item in the menu - the central icon in the top row. There you can choose printing with two materials, and automatic temperature and speed settings (profile system, more on this below) will help to achieve smoothness and quality of products.



Next, select the file to print and run the process. Rail guides made of stainless steel. In the photo we see the very new extruder with two nozzles and an instant plastic switching system.



The one that prints two materials and switches between them in just five seconds. This increases the already significant gap in print speed, compared with earlier models.



The processor is now 32-bit, the engine pitch is up to 1/256. The stroke of the print head along the guide is soft enough. Plastic is also served smoothly. Moreover, the plastic supply control system keeps track of potential problems and in many cases helps to avoid marriage.



Filament coils are located on both sides of the body from the inside.



All basic structural elements are made of aluminum and steel. Of the visible plastic parts, only one is the central handle.



Changed table lights. The model is illuminated inside the entire height of the working area.



Illumination performs not only a decorative function, it signals the current state.




The cover is equipped with magnetic snaps and fits snugly to the body than in the previous model.



In the working area there are 2 fans installed, which work depending on the mode. The control system of the first layer regulates the distance from the extruder nozzle to the printing table, which for each plastic has its own, which helps to create the perfect first layer - the key to quality printing.



The system of profiles also contributes to this: the user simply selects the profile of the installed material, and the printer, in accordance with its parameters, controls the temperature of the nozzle, the plastic feed rate, and pressure.



It works: we selected working nozzles, a profile, and then just started printing.



The extruder is equipped with nozzles from 0.15mm. The extruder's radiator is equipped with thermal sensors and is resistant to overheating. The fan changes the rate of cooling of the radiator depending on the temperature load.

The surfaces are smooth and almost do not need post-processing. Compared with the previous model, and the majority of competitors, the difference in quality is noticeable.

We were pleased with the two-material print on the X Pro - and the support, and the model itself was printed well, no bundles and no form distortion were observed - nothing swam and warped. We can recommend it to customers.
