Dynamic typography

We are all accustomed to the fact that text information is given to us in a static form. Whether it be a book or a poster, the contents of a web page or an Excel table, the letters stand as if waiting for their turn to be swallowed up by their grateful reader. But what if printed characters move in? What happens if the letters start to swim or jump? What happens to our perception if words start dancing around the meaning they want to convey?
