Principle of operation

And if the usual thermometer helps to set the temperature of a certain point, then the imager allows you to examine the entire object.

• scanning a plane with an IR sensor;
• use of the matrix with several sensors of the latest generation.

Now about each option in more detail.

• The first is not the most convenient, because reading the information will take a lot of time. And this is the main disadvantage, since it is not always that time, but on the other hand, the resolution of the resulting image is not limited.
• The second option - using a sensitive matrix with several IR sensors, you can catch infrared radiation and focus it through a special lens. This is the essence of the imager, the device receives information through several sensors, then analyzes it and transmits it to the screen.
