Cumulative updates and subsequent forced reboots for their installation greatly annoyed users of the latest Microsoft OS. The current update policy of Windows 10 allows you to either turn off automatic system updates (for users of the Enterprise or Pro version of the OS) and expose your machine to threats, or to “enjoy” pushing updates after a couple of failures when Microsoft thinks of it.
