The federal anti-monopoly service in the person of its leader Igor Artemyev, in addition to the already practicing fines, regulations and court proceedings, threatens with additional “surprises” for Google, according to Vedomosti.

“No state will agree that the decisions of its courts will not be executed. Therefore, Google is waiting for a lot of interesting things, (many) surprises, ”said Artemyev. “Every time we will acquaint them with new stories that will cause them emotions, until they come to the conclusion that it is necessary to work in Russia as a human being,” added the head of FAS.

Igor Artemyev did not specify what “surprises” the FAS has for Google.

The proceedings between the FAS and Google have been dragging on for almost two years - since February 2015, the reason for which was a complaint from Yandex on a competitor. For example, Yandex accused Google of distributing software from other companies on its free Android OS, which is dominant in the Russian market.

According to representatives of the domestic IT-company, Google "twists hands" to suppliers and manufacturers, forcing those to sign documents according to which the latter do not have the right to install Android forks of other IT-companies and pre-install software that competes with the standard Google application package.

After the intervention of the regulator, Google issued several prescriptions (including changes in contracts with suppliers and manufacturers for the Russian market) and a fine of 438 million rubles, which, however, the company is not in a hurry to pay. Prescriptions, besides sending alerts to Android users in the Russian Federation, were also not met.

Google has been trying to challenge FAS decisions in courts for two years, but all appeals, appeals and lawsuits demanding to transfer the case to the intellectual property court end in failure: Russian justice always takes the FAS side at key points. Google lawyers also do not intend to retreat.
