Roskomnadzor sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office of the Tyumen region to revise the decision of the Zavodoukovsky district court of the Tyumen region to block an article on the game Minecraft, according to the official page of the department in the social network "Vkontakte". This article is about the creation of in-game object "TNT".

The Zavodoukovsky District Court of the Tyumen Region decided to block the article “Minecraft” on the territory of the Russian Federation, as it contains information “about the method of manufacturing explosives, which is prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation,” says Roskomnadzor.

“We sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office of the Tyumen region with a request to reconsider this decision. A prompt reply was received that the application for review of the decision was sent to the court, and measures to enforce this decision have not yet been applied. The design of the publication and the general tone of the message in the RKN group testifies that even the regulator is not ready to put up with really absurd and marasmic decisions that the judges make because of ignorance or because of their unwillingness to delve into the essence of the situation.

It should be noted that in Minecraft explosives are made from gunpowder and sand (or red sand), which has nothing to do with real explosives, which has a much more complex chemical structure and are much more difficult to manufacture.
