MyDrone - quadrocopter with 4K and auto tracking object

MyDrone is a quadcopter project with Kickstarter that promises to be a great competitor to Airdog .


This is not the first multicopter with the function of auto-tracking of the object, but the developers promise to send the backers in April 2017. the device, which will by all indicators exceed the existing analogues. Multicopters are already very actively used for video filming, this is especially true in extreme sports. The same trick, shown from different angles, can produce a stunning effect.

Existing quadcopters mostly require an operator with special skills to operate the machine. With MyDrone, you can get 4K video, while the quadcopter will do all the work itself.

According to the authors of the project, this product is the fruit of a team of engineers, software developers and designers for nine years of independent research and development, as well as more than 10,000 flight tests to ensure the safety and reliability of the flight.

All you need to do is turn on the drone on the ground, synchronize the position with the tracking sensor and give a command to start. All management is carried out through a special controller on the arm. It is worth noting that, unlike Airdog, a smart watch allows you to control the functions of the drone, and the module that is being monitored is a separate unit. This will allow, for example, to install the module on a separate object to monitor it. Imagine how the kopter is sent on an unforgettable journey - chasing a dog with a tracking tag.


By the name of the device, the developers tried to say that this is a drone that can become close for everyone, because you do not need any management skills. The multicopter itself takes off, sits down and selects the flight path for best results.

The maximum flight duration is 20 minutes. In case you forget about your autonomous copter, it will simply select a landing site and land when the battery is critically low.


A multicopter can also be controlled through a special application, setting points on a map for patrolling, composing a flight route, or controlling the flight directly using a controller and FPV.

Telemetry and FPV are transmitted to mobile devices without interference over Wi-Fi at a distance of 800 meters, while the response time is less than 200 milliseconds. MyDrone is easy to carry around: folding and unfolding takes just a few seconds!

Easy tracking
The copter will save its coordinates relative to the subject.

The drone will fly around the subject.


Hang
Multikopter will try to keep the minimum distance from the object.


Shadow
MyDrone will follow in one direction from the subject, while maintaining the object at the focal length.


FOLLOW-TRACK:
The drone will fly against the target at the same speed and direction.


Selfies
This algorithm involves the movement of the copter in front of the object at different distances to obtain excellent self-photo.


Line
The drone will fly along a given track with a camera focused on the target.


MyDrone will continue to fly in any weather. While other drones pass before the wind, this drone can withstand winds up to 18 m / s.

The developers presented a 3-axis self-produced camera stabilizer, which is capable of providing stabilization accuracy of ± 0.02 and 2000 corrections per second, which makes high-speed aerial photography smooth and stable. The camera is included in the kit, but all the mountings are also suitable for the GoPro.
