Uber launched unmanned vehicles in San Francisco

Today, December 14, 2016, Uber officially launched unmanned vehicles on routes in San Francisco.



Great news for fans of fiction and fans of progress! :)
After testing unmanned vehicles in Pittsburgh for 3 months, Uber launched drones on the streets of San Francisco.
I'd add that I saw these cars on the streets of San Francisco in test mode about a month ago.

• How to call an unmanned vehicle? Simply open the Uber application and call UberX. If there is a robo-machine next to it, it will arrive on a call like a regular driver, and a notification will appear in the application about what type of car is driving. If you want to ride the old-fashioned way with the driver, it will be enough to cancel the order of the UAV and the application will automatically assign the order to the ordinary driver.
  
  
• Who sits in the driver's seat? The car is an experienced operator to comply with the law on the movement of unmanned vehicles and to ensure a comfortable ride. Yes, and every talk more pleasant with a man than with a robot!
  
  
• How many people can take a drone in one trip? Maximum three passengers.
  
  
• Can I change my destination? Once the passenger got into the car, you cannot change your destination. That is, the option "Stop around the corner, please" is not appropriate here.
  
  
• Is there a camera in the car? Yes, cameras are installed in the car in order to evaluate the ride and the impressions of the passengers, as well as for safety reasons.
  
  
• How much does it cost? The cost of a trip on an unmanned vehicle is the same as the cost of a trip on a regular UberX.
