POST-codes in the smartphone? - already reality
The diagnostic diagnosis runs the risk of becoming irrelevant with the appearance on the market of ASUS motherboards equipped with the most advanced hardware monitoring system that provides (among other things) and output POST codes on the smartphone screen.
This became known before the official press release of ASUS, thanks to a leak of information about the family of new motherboards based on the Intel Z270 chipset. At least one of them - TUF Z270 MARK 1 - provides picture transmission, which includes diagnostic POST-codes and access to monitoring, through a specially designed for this purpose one of the USB-ports.

As follows from the information not yet confirmed by ASUS, diagnostics of the TUF Z270 MARK 1 motherboard and its monitoring are possible before the start of the CPU or in case of problems with its start.
