The Swedish company IKEA , known for all its products for home improvement, since October of this year has quietly and imperceptibly come out to its customers with a completely new range - LED lighting of the “smart home” format.

IKEA has been actively promoting LED technology for several years, and quite radically.
At first, the Swedes completely abandoned sales of incandescent lamps, then halogen lamps, and from 2015 they switched only to the LED range .
Now, from October 2016, the company launched three different groups of “smart goods” in 4 countries (Sweden, Italy, Belgium and the Czech Republic)
The first category of products has the fancy name TRĂ…DFRI and is a series of E27, E14 and GU10 LED lamps, which can be controlled via a remote control or an application on Android devices or Apple gadgets.
The beauty of light bulbs is that you can remotely change their brightness (dimming) or the temperature of the light. Using a separate remote control, you can adjust the temperature between three modes: 2200K, 2700K and 4000K. You can also, of course, turn on or off the light bulb.
Four lamps to choose from (prices are from the Italian site, as the euro is clearer than Swedish crowns):

The second category - doors with integrated lighting, which fit the existing furniture. There are only two doors with a price of 99 € and 120 € .
They can also adjust the brightness and change the temperature of the light, both from the console and from the application.
The third category is decorative panels. Apparently, the company proposes to use them in rooms without windows.
Three panels, and they differ only in size. Like the previous two types of products, panels can be dimmed and switch between three light temperatures.
Up to 10 devices of any of the three categories can be connected to the remote control. The range of the console is up to 10 meters, and, as promised by the manufacturer, the walls will not interfere. The very same remote costs 17 € , if you buy it separately.

In addition to the remote lighting can be controlled from the application on Android or IOS (Windows Phone, unfortunately, again by). But the application will be available only in a few months, so it’s impossible to unleash the full potential.
The application will be available to install "scenarios" with a pre-aligned level and temperature for each of the lamps.
In order to control the lighting through the application, you will need to purchase a separate wifi module, which will go on sale too a little later.
Apparently, with the release of the application, the number of countries in which the “smart” assortment will begin to sell will also increase. But at the same time, the date of commencement of sales in Russia, as well as prices in rubles, are not yet known.
