Who is this event for?

Moscow Blockchain Developers Meetup for developers and researchers in the field of cryptography, p2p-systems and blockchain technology.

What are we going to talk about?

Many are aware of the Merkle tree . But not everyone knows that this is far from the only structure that can be used in blockchain systems. Such structures are called “Authenticated Data Structures”, and the methods for their use are quite multifaceted. The most natural thing is to use it to improve scalability, when, for example, validation of operations is performed without using the full transaction history.

We will also discuss the Bitcoin NG proposal, which can significantly increase the capacity of blockchain systems, allowing you to process hundreds of transactions per second.

The approach has no serious drawbacks, and, undoubtedly, will soon be implemented in production systems.
