SoftKey summed up the year

The online software store SoftKey announced a turnover of 300 million rubles in 2006, which is 112% more than the 2005 figure. The total number of customers of the store for 5 years of its work amounted to 300 thousand.

The greatest demand was for products of the category “Internet, local networks” - sales of these products accounted for 26%. Antivirus protection programs were bought by 16% of customers, Microsoft products - 14%, goods in the “Security” category - 13%, “Utilities” - 8%, “Multimedia, graphics, design” - 7%. The bestsellers among the vendors are Bitrix, Kaspersky Lab, Agnitum, Kerio Technologies, Microsoft, RAR Lab, RITLABS, SmartLine.

SoftKey notes an increase in the activity of regional users: if in 2005, Moscow and the region accounted for 63% of sales, in 2006 it was already 51%. The company has a dealer network of 350 partners, selling mainly operating systems, Internet technologies, security tools, and mail programs. At the same time, 85% of sales are electronic licenses, and only 15% are boxed versions.

The ratio of corporate clients and home users among buyers in 2006 was equal to 25% to 75%.
