The main reason for this surge in piracy is a very harsh and simply absurd DRM-defense of the licensed distribution, which has already caused a massive wave of protests among gamers. For example, a massive flash mob is organized on the Amazon.com store website about this (people put the game at a minimum rating).

Protection of the license disk does not just limit the maximum number of installations (no more than three), but also allows you to start only one account per person . This means that if several people in your family want to play, then you need to buy several licensed copies of the game for $ 50 each. This position was officially confirmed by representatives of EA , although the official manual on page 52 states the exact opposite:

However, the company EA stated that this item is not true and in the next versions of the manual the error will be fixed.
