Motion Design - the direction of modern art, representing a symbiosis of graphic design and dynamic graphics, such as movies, video or computer animation.
It is difficult to reliably tell when the very concept of Motion Graphics appeared. It is known that it was used in the 19th century, but it became firmly used as a term only, perhaps, only in 1960, when Motion Graphics Inc. was founded by John Whitney. Finally, the term became popular after Trish and Chris Meyer's book on using Adobe After Effects called “Creating Motion Graphics”.
Examples of works in this area are often found in ordinary life, such as special effects for films, multimedia presentations or various three-dimensional logos of TV channels, and even movie titles. Did you know that, on average, 12 minutes out of every hour of television broadcasting in the world is the work of motion designers? Often, few people pay attention to this, the motion design is sometimes even called an invisible art. Recently, high-quality motion design can increasingly be found on the pages of Internet resources or in various promo and commercials of world brands.
