Laptop-transformer, tablet-transformer - you can call the Lenovo MiiX 510 whatever you like, but the essence remains the same - it really is a real transformer, turning from laptop to tablet and back with a slight movement.

Appearance
Lenovo MiiX 510 has a display size of 12.2 inches. Looking ahead, we can say that this is a very comfortable size in both laptop mode and tablet mode. Screen FHD +, with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and protected by glass Gorilla Glass. Without a keyboard, the thickness of the tablet is only 9.9 mm, with the keyboard a little more - 15.9 mm.
Behind is a proprietary stand, which can be rotated at an angle of up to 150 degrees. Putting or placing the tablet in any convenient way has become even easier - no need to search for substrates, stands and reinvent the wheel. By the way, the hinges of the stand remind you that this is Lenovo - the complete design of such hinges can be seen, for example, on the new generation YOGA laptops. The design is very similar to the watch strap, plus it is able to withstand considerable loads.
')

The speaker at the tablet is located on top, which seems to be a convenient solution - the sound does not rest on the knees or the table, but will be heard as it should in almost any situation. The volume and on-off buttons - on the right side, on the left - the power connector.

The keyboard is made on a rather textured substrate - the material is similar to the skin. The keyboard attachment to the tablet is indicated by a small connector; it is convenient to attach and detach it. The keyboard is full-sized, with increased depth of depression and backlit keys. Trying to dial something on it, do not feel discomfort.

Filling
MiiX 510 runs on Windows 10. The tablet is based on the sixth generation Intel Core i7 chipset. Intel HD Graphics 520 is responsible for the graphics. It is not yet known what modifications will be available, so we will talk about the top model. It received 8 GB of LDDR4 RAM and an internal PCI SSD drive with a capacity of 1 TB.
The transformer is equipped with USB 3.0 Type-C, USB 3.0 connectors, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader. As for wireless connections, they are the complete set: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and even 4G LTE.
The MiiX 510 battery can operate autonomously for up to 7.5 hours, its capacity is 39 Wh. As for weight, without a keyboard, the tablet weighs 880 grams, with a keyboard - 1250 grams. In both cases, this is a small weight for a powerful portable device.
Special features
The tablet supports work with a digital pen with support of the Windows Ink technology or the Lenovo Active Pen stylus. The latter is able to recognize up to 2048 degrees of depression. Notes, sketches, drawings, drawings and other graphic information is perceived by the tablet with a bang.

We do not know whether it is possible to replace the traditional notebooks, diaries and pens with the MiiX 510, but we think that this is quite possible and in case of necessity we will try to conduct a similar experiment.
