The producers of "The Walking Dead" will film "The Chronicles of Amber"

The members of the royal family and their blood relatives have the ability to move between different “shadows” with the help of willpower. Five of the ten volumes tell what is happening from the point of view of Prince Corvin, the other five from the point of view of his son, Merlin.

First published in 1970, Amber Chronicles sold 15 million copies worldwide. Actors Alessandro Juliani and Wil Wheaton in 2012 recorded audio books with the full version of "Chronicles".

The author of Amber Chronicles is Roger Zelazny, American science fiction writer (1937-1995). He was born in the family of a Pole and an Irish. Already in 10 years Zhelazny wrote fairy tales. At university, he was first engaged in psychology, and then transferred to the department of English literature. In 1962, he received a master's degree from Columbia University with a degree in Drama of the Elizabethan and Jacobian Eras.
