MTS raises intercity tariffs almost doubled
On July 22, the inconspicuous news “More Internet with Smart tariffs” appeared on the MTS website.
The summary sounds optimistic, but at the end of the news about the Internet report:
And everything would be fine (“at a bargain price by long distance” at the beginning of the news and “they will be able to call ... at a price of $ 5 per minute”), except that the previous price on this line, except for the cheapest fare, was $ 3 per minute. If it seems that the tariffs are not enough, then, in fact, these are all MTS running tariffs (if, for example, the tariffs for tablets are removed or by the second).
At the same time, from June 19, the “Favorable intercity” service was turned off for connection, which allowed calling for the same 3 ₽ (but with a monthly fee of 40 ₽ per month).
The support confirmed that the only way to call long-distance from August is profitable - Smart Top tariffs ($ 1500 per month) or Ultra ($ 2,700 per month).Or do it not by phone.
