September PostgreSQL-meeting: full text search in PostgreSQL

After the summer break, we are happy to announce that the next, September meeting of all those who use, start using or are simply interested in PostgreSQL is scheduled for September 16 (Tuesday) in Moscow. This time we will talk about PostgreSQL full-text search, how to configure it correctly (first of all, when working with Russian and English), about all the many features of FTS in PostgreSQL version 8.3. Fyodor Sigaev (the FTS developer at PostgreSQL) and Ivan Zolotukhin will make a presentation paper “PostgreSQL full text search capabilities” . And Oleg Bartunov (also FTS developer) will tell about interesting new developments of the full-text search engine and plans.
