Options for their use - an infinite number:
The principle of operation is as follows: the cartridge consists of 2 tapes: ink and substrate (woven, adhesive, reflective, luminous, etc.). When the printing head is heated, the image is transferred from the ink ribbon to the substrate under the influence of temperature, thus the inscription is “soldered” into the ribbon. The highlight of this solution is that in addition to one such cartridge, no additional consumables are required. There is also no need to worry about “refilling”: change the cartridge and label it on health!
You can choose the font, its size, add frames, symbols and icons (food, travel, sports, etc.), you can print bar codes (except Epson LW-300 ) and even QR codes (only on Epson LW-700 ).
All printers in the series are portable. They can be used with both an adapter and batteries. The self-powered version is especially convenient: you can take a printer with you anywhere, it does not take up much space, and it takes a long time to print from one set of batteries.
A few words about labels and ribbons:
Separately, we note that the length of most tapes is 9 meters . With an average label length of 8-10 cm, one tape cartridge will be enough for 100-110 labels! This is a very good result among similar devices. And with the cost of ownership, perhaps the best at all.

- there are labels that can withstand extreme temperatures;
- Labels can be glued to virtually any surface, including glass, stainless steel, and curved surfaces.
- there are even magnetic labels that can, for example, “stick” to the refrigerator;
- there are also reflective tape;
- an assortment of ribbons, glowing in the dark, with a transparent base ... Thousands of them!
- width of tapes and labels: 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 mm.
