Despite the fact that Tesla Gigafabrika has been partially working for some time, the company has not yet named the opening date of the entire complex in Nevada. But now we know the number - this is July 29th. At the opening there will be a lot of officials, which is not surprising - there are a lot of money and effort.

The company has already sent invitations to many guests, including those who "won" the invitation by taking part in the referral program. This invitation could be received by any participant of this program, who invited five people who later bought Tesla Model S. The media did not receive invitations yet, so it’s unclear whether any of the journalists will be or not. Although the fact that the event will be covered, no doubt.

In principle, only ordinary guests were invited to the event dedicated to the launch of the Model 3 production. And the journalists were sent invitations directly before the event itself.

As for the Gigafabrika itself, this industrial complex will allow the company to start a mass production of the Tesla Model 3 - this is a new model of electric car, for which the company has about 370 thousand pre-orders. At the maximum level of production, the factory is scheduled to be launched in 2020. By 2018, the company plans to release about half a million electric vehicles.

And as an interesting fact it is worth mentioning that the complex itself after its commissioning will be considered the second largest building in the world.
