Finalization of the MC7 Prime mini 3D printer from Master Kit
We offer to your attention the revision of the MC7 3D-printer , as a result of which it becomes possible to equip it with a popular electronics kit: Arduino Mega + shield RAMPS1.4 + 3D Smart Controller . The last component is a 4-line LCD display with an encoder and an SD card reader. With it, your printer turns into a standalone device and does not require connecting to a computer for printing.
As you know, the MC7 3D printer is a new product from Master Kit - the simplest for self-assembly, a compact, fast, portable printer-designer. In its design uses only 11 plastic parts! Despite its simplicity, the printer provides quite acceptable print quality for those who begin their journey in this interesting area.
To finalize it, it’s enough to print only three parts: one part for mounting the Arduino + RAMPS and two parts for the LCD. Stl-files of all parts, as well as firmware with support for the display and SD-reader, you can find on the website 3d.masterkit.ru .

The top mounted display does not interfere with carrying the printer. The electronics transition frame is fastened with M3 screws with external holes to the printer's parts, designed to fix the Mastertronics board, and internal ones to the Arduino Mega board.
The RAMPS shield is installed in a standard way from above onto the Arduino Mega board, and the display is connected via an adapter to the RAMPS with two ribbon cables. Adapter and cables are included with the display. No soldering is required.
Having improved the printer in this way, we tried to print a test cube with Watson plastic from an SD card with the corresponding G-code. It turned out very well!
Ps Printing ABS plastic on a cold table is a hands-on experience.

2. In the nomination "Respect" the winner will be determined by the opinion of an expert jury from the staff of the department of 3D-technologies Master Kit.
