Project Tango allows your smartphone or tablet to interact with the real world in the most convenient way that you can imagine. We have identified three main scenarios for using the application: navigation, games and support functions of various services. Now we will talk about two new applications. They take navigation to a completely different level. The presentation of the technology took place in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, and two programs were developed by GuidiGO and Glympse.

Wherever you are, GuidiGO's Project Tango will give your leisure a completely different experience. Consider the incredible possibilities of technology on the example of the National Museum of Art of Catalonia.

Imagine that you are now in a huge building and have an interactive guide at hand. Using Project Tango, you can see something that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Want to explore a specific picture, but do not know where to look for it in a dimensionless museum? Simply select a work of art in the app and follow the signs, holding the smartphone in your hand. Through the camera of the device, the whole environment on which the navigation marks are applied is transmitted. This method is much more convenient and easier than traditional maps with arrows. When you have reached the picture, move the smartphone to the work of art, and immediately get all the information about the work, including “special places” - interesting points and moments.

Another application is created by Glympse, the leader in real-time location sharing. It became even easier to share your geo-location with loved ones. Project Tango extends existing features. Having sent the coordinates to the user, he will see you on the screen of his smartphone through walls, floors and other obstacles. In buildings such as museums, this is incredibly convenient. Project Tango allows you to quickly and easily answer the question "Where are you?".

Imagine yourself in the museum room. In your hands you hold a smartphone with the installed application GuidiGO - it displays a map of the museum with paintings marked in the corners. They wanted to see one of them - they chose a job, and the program displayed information about the work of art, and also laid a route. Then go to the picture, looking at the screen of the smartphone, where the dotted line of navigation is superimposed on the image from the camera. When you are in place, just tap the display to get information about the history of the painting.
