Free Wi-Fi will appear on all ground transportation in Moscow until the end of the year.

The State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans intends to expand the network of Mosgortrans_Free access points by 800 public transport routes in Moscow by the end of the year. Free internet will appear in all buses, trolley buses and trams .

“The new service is gaining popularity among passengers. Since the start of the project in February, 250,000 unique users have registered in the Mosgortrans_Free network, the number of Internet sessions has already exceeded one million connections. We are pleased to offer citizens a truly modern and sought-after service that makes trips on land transport more comfortable, ” said Yevgeny Mikhailov, Director General of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans.

Now the service is available in 4,000 vehicles, as well as at 450 ground transportation stops near metro stations, railway platforms and bus stations. The presence of Wi-Fi reported stickers in the salons of transport. To connect, you must pass a one-time authorization via SMS, subsequent connections are made automatically.
