And, of course, such cars should be able to drive on the road themselves, without the participation of the driver. Probably, many of Geek's readers saw these colorful pictures from the world of the future, where the driver is sitting in the car with a magazine or a tablet, and the car is driving independently. In such pictures, even the controls are often missing.

The owner of such a car can even sleep if there is such a desire. But all this is a matter of the future; now it’s impossible to sleep at the wheel of a car. Although ... If you fall asleep accidentally behind the wheel of a Tesla Model S with an autopilot, maybe you can take a nap for a couple of minutes and succeed? The other day on YouTube there was a video with a sleeping man in a passenger car driving along the road - Tesla Model S.

If the video is not a fake (and this may well be), then the driver clearly fell asleep just now. The fact is that Tesla autopilot controls what is happening in the car. If the driver doesn’t take any action for a long time, the system starts beeping and the car gradually stops. In this case, an alarm is given, and the car drives off the road to the side of the road. This happens if the driver does not respond to the audible and visual signals given by the system.

As for the video, here the driver clearly fell asleep (or pretended to be asleep - the video may be fake) quite recently, and the autopilot has not yet "paid attention" to inaction on the part of the owner of the car.
