Google has announced the completion of a mobile application development contest based on its Android software platform, the Android Developer Challenge. 50 development teams from around the world reached the final of the competition, and among the winners was the Russian team.
Russian experts presented to the jury of the Android Developer Challenge a social geo-application for mobile devices built on the Google Maps technology platform. The project of Sergey Gritsyuk and Dmitry Shipilov from Obninsk is called Beetaun. The application is designed not only to make your trip to anywhere in the world even more interesting and rich, but also allows you to take all your friends in the virtual "fellow travelers."
Beetaun is a geo-oriented service that is a collection of unique information about the cities of the world. Beetaun is a social network that allows you to find friends, share impressions, leave comments and post photos of the places you visited. The creators of this service, Sergey and Dmitry, are only 22 years old. In their service, they managed to realize their dream - to create something really useful for each user.
