Search, vote and some other GT updates

Hi, Empire! Today we had a small site update, which included small, but pleasant and harmless innovations. If you regularly visit Habr, you will not notice anything new on GT: all the changes discussed below are available from Habrahabr since last week, and from this point on are available here.

Voting and Karma

Perhaps the most significant (and long-awaited) change: if you used to vote for the karma of a user who does not have a single publication, it was possible only in a minus, now it can be added up to +4. This means that any registered GT user with the Read & Comment status can gain some starting amount of positive karma. Thanks to everyone who suggested this idea and argued the need for its implementation.

In addition, everyone can now vote for publications whose karma is ≥5 (there used to be ≥10). Trifle, but nice.

Search

They returned the search bar to the upper right corner of the main page, from where it disappeared several years ago. From the right vertical menu bar, he, however, has not gone away, so you can use any.

Post Notifications

Updated profile settings associated with email notifications : now there is a checkbox "Send me email about changes on the site" - allows you to learn about all the important updates on the day of release.

Pocket

Fixed adding publications to Pocket. Now it works.
