AOC and Jide have released all-in-one PC on Remix OS
The Android OS was originally developed for mobile devices, but was later adapted to work on a variety of products, including watches, car systems and televisions. And now Google seems to be taking steps to blur the boundaries between Android and Chrome OS, which can pave the way for Android to laptops and PCs.
The Chinese company Jide is one of the few who have already transformed Android into a desktop operating system. Last year, Remix OS appeared, based on Android-x86 and installed on tablets, desktop mini-PCs and laptops. And now AOC and Jide launch the first all-in-one PC running Remix OS, reports liliputing.com . A diagonal of 23.8 inches, a resolution of 1920x1080, a quad-core ARM Cortex-A42 processor with a frequency of 2 GHz, an Amlogic S905 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The PC will be available in two configurations: with 16 GB and 64 GB of memory. ')
It also has a number of input and output connectors, including two HDMI ports, four USB ports, and an Ethernet connector.
Remix OS has a taskbar, a desktop, and a launcher menu for Android applications. It also allows you to run most applications with resizable windows that can be positioned anywhere on the screen, allowing you to interact with more than one application at a time.
A PC with Remix OS 2.0 software is expected to go on sale in China this summer. The computer is currently on display at the Asian International Consumer Electronics Show (CES Asia 2016) in Shanghai.
