A 14-year-old Moldovan teenager created a game that brought him $ 4,500 a month.

Parents stopped scolding boy for "useless games"

The other day on the Web there was information that a 14-year-old teenager from Edinet (Moldova) was able to create a computer game, which became a regular source of income for the developer and his family. The most interesting thing is that just the family considered Nikita's permanent stay (that is the name of the publication hero) at the PC as a waste of time. Initially, Nikita only played, but over time he realized that he wanted to create his own game.

“At first I was a simple gamer and spent a lot of time playing games. A lot - this is in the opinion of my father (the programmer), but in fact only 30-40 minutes a day. But even this did not like the father very much. He was skeptical about what I was playing, but encouraged learning programming. I had a lot of ideas for my own game, but until recently I could not bring any of them to the end, ” Nikita said in an interview with Point.

The first game a teenager tried to do in 12 years. After a year and a half, he finally brought the idea to the end, and created a full-fledged game. It is called SAMOLIOTIK, and after creating the PLANE, it was decided to make it paid. The toy began to be sold on Steam at a price of 29 rubles ($ 0.99 for the United States, Europe and other countries). The idea was successful, and in the month the toy began to bring about $ 4,500, which were transferred to the father’s card. The expected reaction from the parent was the surprise and further support of all the undertakings of the boy.

“My father not only ceased to be skeptical of my passion for games, but even praises me for achievements and encourages me in every way,” says Nikita. It is worth noting that he himself has already been invited to the Game Factory-2016 conference, which will be held in Moldova on May 21 and 22, where he will tell about his experience.
