According to information received by Kommersant (the newspaper Kommersant) from several sources at once in consulting and information security companies, as well as from an employee of one of the federal mobile communication operators, InfoWatch completed the development of a commercial prototype of the telephone interception system in mobile networks. This information was confirmed by Kommersant and Natalia Kasperskaya herself, the head of InfoWatch, as well as Alexey Raevsky, general director of Zecurion.

According to the latter, the equipment will be a certain type of femtocell, which, passing all the nearest traffic to the operator unchanged, will have to intercept it, and recognizing the voice streams in the text, analyze them for pre-defined keywords.
')
This information should also be added to the fact that the terminal itself, according to Kaspersky, is not produced directly by Infowatch, but by an external vendor, which she refused to name:
It is planned that the hardware device installed in the company will be integrated with the core network of the cellular operator so that it becomes a trusted base station of the cellular operator. Then this base station will intercept voice traffic from mobile phones that are in its coverage area. [...] Customers will be advised to work the device in the selective control mode exclusively corporate SIM cards. In this case, calls from other SIM cards belonging to employees or customers and partners coming to the company's office will be rejected by the device and redirected to standard base stations of cellular operators.

In the near future, Infowatch plans to obtain "the conclusion of the relevant authorities that this decision is not a special means for obtaining unofficial access" (in order not to receive a license from the FSB), and also to receive certificates from Roskomnadzor. The last step is direct agreements with the operators so that they do not block the operation of the complex. However, according to a source of Kommersant in one of the federal mobile operators, about six months ago, the prototype was already shown to a circle of interested persons at a closed presentation. At the same time, it was claimed that the device can work in any voice mobile network without the knowledge of the operator directly.
As always, there are no concrete conclusions - however, in the light of recent events with the MTS and the hijacking of Telegram accounts with certain people, this all looks extremely and extremely controversial.
