The flight of a suborbital rocket was shot from different angles on GoPro

During the flight, an autonomous means of cargo delivery from the ISS to Earth was tested.

Today, GoPro has posted a full version of the video, which demonstrates the flight of a suborbital rocket to a height of 120 km. The launch of the rocket itself was carried out long ago, back in November 2015, from the spaceport America in the state of New Mexico. Rocket - SpaceLoft-10, it launched a private space company UP Aerospace, which performs the contracts of NASA.

The launch was the fourth in the NASA Flight Opportunities Program mission. Immediately after launch, the rocket began to rotate around its axis - this is required to stabilize the flight. About a minute later, the rocket reached a predetermined height, and here the Maraia capsule separated from SpaceLoft-10. It was for the sake of testing the capsules that the rocket was launched.

After about three minutes, the capsule entered the atmosphere, and without problems sat down at the landfill - the planned landing site. Testing spacewalk, reducing and landing capsules, according to representatives of NASA, was quite successful. Maraia plans to use it as an “inexpensive, autonomous vehicle for the ISS, which ensures the return of small scientific and engineering cargo to Earth on request”.
