I continue to talk about the master kit
MC2 printer and its use.
In previous articles, it was about
improvements and
settings . I note with satisfaction that over time the printer has turned into a home tool like a hammer or a soldering iron, and has firmly taken its place on the desktop. On the right is a soldering iron, on the left is a printer. Sometimes the printer goes into the closet when you need more space, but usually it’s still on the table.

Settings got used, and the printer, being included at any time, stably and confidently prints. Reflections on how to cut and grind tools smoothly flowed into reflections on how to draw a certain surface in SketchUP. Spatial thinking develops superbly!

I will share some solutions and details made for the home. Attached

Everyone probably met containers from one friendly country, designed to store and use all sorts of liquids. I use them for alcohol and gasoline. Since the tanks are equipped with cut needles from syringes, the consumption of liquids is small, it is very convenient to use. But the caps covering the needles are not designed for the design of the container and are constantly falling down and lost. Therefore, I drew and printed these caps:

Many of the necessary things are available in blisters with a device for hanging them on rods and hooks. And in my closet completely empty door nothing disappears. Made just such a design based on an aluminum strip of 20x2 mm from OBI. Hooks consist of two parts and stick together tightly with dichloroethane. They can be moved along the strip, so hung things hang properly and are easily found when necessary:

The next opus is a seat for the white friend of the whole family (sorry, but this is the harsh truth of life). Plastic inserts collapsed - apparently the plastic was not very high quality. Printed new inserts are abundantly smeared with dichloroethane, they become smooth, glossy and do not slip into contact with faience. Having established the first sample, I found out that the rear inserts are hanging in the air for about 3 mm. Quickly added these 3mm and reprinted a couple of inserts. It became all smooth and beautiful. Healthy perfectionism, however! In addition, in the plastic seat no stress and it will last longer:

I am very pleased with my purchase. I am sure that MS2 will serve me long and correctly. For doubters: you need to make some (not titanic) efforts to understand the principles of operation and printer settings - and you will succeed!
