It seems that anonymity on the Web is really no more. This has been talked about for a long time, and this statement is becoming more and more truthful. Not so long ago, Geektimes published information about the project of a photographer from St. Petersburg who photographed people in the subway and compared people with their profile on Vkontakte. The photo session is called Your Face Is Big Data .

The name turned out to be prophetic. Having learned about the project, morals advocates launched a campaign to fight actresses and actors of films and commercials of the “XXX” category. The initiators of the “project” are the users of the “Dvach.ru” community, who take a photo of an actor / actress or just a person who behaves “inappropriately”, according to users. Photos are uploaded to FindFace, and real people are found on social networks. Friends and relatives are then told about their “activities”, Lenta writes . At the moment, the number of those identified has exceeded one hundred.

The administration of the service, which is used to “break cover”, claims that FindFace cannot restrict this kind of user action, since the search for photos and videos is done automatically. At the same time, the founder of the service says that FindFace will cooperate with law enforcement agencies in investigating cases of unlawful activities.
