Flux: electric bikes line for all riding styles

From the very beginning of spring, projects, prototypes and already run-in models of the newest electric cars broke out from laboratories and workshops for the judgment of a sophisticated community. One of them is FLUX , which the creators call none other than Tesla S among bicycles. The project was successfully launched on the site Indiegogo, collecting for the month almost $ 500 thousand.

The attention of biker bikers presents three models of the family, designed for different riding styles. City electric bikes Roadster, for rough terrain - Trial, and for MTB fans - Attack.

Bike design

All models are built on light aluminum frames, forks differ depending on the type of bike. The model for MTB has a rear shock absorber, plus, as already said, a more powerful 17 A battery (gives out 612 Wh). The models for the city and the trial have 13 A batteries (468 Wh).

As for the basic elements of construction and electronic equipment, they are the same for all members of the FLUX family:



Two main distinguishing points from fellow market: battery and the location of the electric motor. The source of energy in the FLUX line is the same as in the Ilona Mask cars - Samsung's lithium-ion storage cells. Without recharging the bike can drive 74 km with a maximum speed of 40 km / h. It’s like the distance between the cities of Carmel and Santa Cruz along a scenic road along the Pacific Ocean.



As for the motor, it is not located like most electric bikes in the rear hub, but on the axis of the connecting rod mechanism. The brushless motor from Bofeili with a power of 250 W standard for this kind of transport is presented.
