Space Broadcast Launch SpaceX CRS-8 (SpX-8)

This night, the brainchild of Ilona Mask will launch Falcon 9 Full Thrust. The most advanced of the SpaceX missiles currently available in the arsenal will be sent to the ISS by a space truck Dragon . In June, the previous "Dragon" was lost - the Falcon 9 v1.1 rocket exploded 2 minutes 19 seconds after separation from the Earth. Dragon's last successful visit to the International Space Station was almost a year ago. In addition to conventional cargo, the CRS-8 flight ship carries the BEAM module, an experimental inflatable residential module.

The first step will again try to land on a floating spaceport. Perhaps this attempt will be successful. None of the previous ones ended successfully. The first step of the Falcon 9 was managed to land once, but on the hard surface of the landing area on land. Landing on a barge in the sea has not yet been worked out.

Usually, a video broadcast from a deserted barge is not available when landing. Whether it is the ionizing exhaust of rocket engines of the first stage, or the banal vibrations of satellite communications equipment, but SpaceX does not give these fragments on the air. They have to be caught soon after landing somewhere on the Net, sometimes even in leaks. Watch the launch in the text broadcast in this post. Actually, the flight will begin on April 8 at 23:43 Moscow time .
