In the capital of Mexico, they are implementing a smog control program, under which they will introduce prohibited days for cars to go once a week. The program was developed after on March 14 an environmental alarm was introduced in the city due to the doubled maximum air pollution level.
When inhalation, inhalers are used for treatment, which spray the drug into drops of two to ten micrometers so that the medicine can easily enter the lungs due to its size. According to the World Health Organization, one of the reasons for the increased mortality of cancer patients is the state of the environment. Residents of cities with each breath absorb a huge amount of solid particles, the most dangerous of which are small particles with a diameter of up to 2.5 microns. In China, a
quarter of these particles are supplied by vehicles.
In 1992, the United Nations called Mexico City the most polluted city on the planet. Six years later, the capital of Mexico was called "the most dangerous city in the world for children." The ecology was influenced by the population boom - from 3 million in 1950 to 20 million today, and an increase in the number of cars, with a third of the 4.7 million cars over 20 years old.

In March 2016, the Mexico City authorities raised the alarm - the maximum permissible level of air pollution was exceeded twice in four days. After this incident, a
smog control program was developed: from April 5 to June 30, private cars once a week will not go on public roads. Moreover, one Saturday a month they will also be standing in garages and parking lots. It's like Earth Hour, just a day and once a week.
The pollution incident caused the first such large-scale concern over the past 11 years. The problem is not solved at the moment. Previously, the authorities forced car owners to undergo an inspection on the topic of pollution, but instead, drivers simply paid for special stickers.
