Roscosmos State Corporation presented a really interesting work
Man has been exploring space for many centuries — first with his own eyes, intellect and improvised tools, then with more sophisticated tools, telescopes, astrolabes, records and analysis, and then humanity began to directly explore outer space.
')
The history of space exploration is very interesting. The Russian state corporation Roskosmos (yes, it is the one that is now engaged in the arrangement of the Vostochny cosmodrome) has created a colorful visualization of this whole story. Work is called
In Space We Trust . And there is something to see here.
Immediately it is worth noting that the project is rather “heavy”, and immediately it will select a lot of resources of your system. But it's worth it. On the site, the user receives a character - this is a young and fast astronaut who can run forward on a chronological scale or come back. Here everything does not begin with Ancient Greece, the starting point is October 4, 1957, when the first artificial satellite of the earth was launched into orbit.
And then everything else begins, with each significant event accompanied by colorful animation, a brief description and a link to Wikipedia (the page where this event is described in detail). Soundtrack is also on top.
So far, the final point here is the mission of
New Horizons . Probably, the chronological scale will be complemented by new events as they appear.
