The British government accidentally leaked information, from which, in particular, it follows that Dyson received a generous grant to work on the creation of an electric car. Information is contained in the extensive document “Development of National Infrastructure from 2016 to 2021”.

According to the data in the documents, James Dyson will receive £ 174 million for his company to develop a new battery-powered vehicle at the company's headquarters in Malmesbury. According to the plan, this, among other things, should create about 500 new jobs.

At the moment, the document has already been changed, and it mentions only a £ 16 million grant for Dyson for battery development. More recently, Dyson boasted a record-breaking profit of the company and 20% growth, in connection with which he promised to invest a billion pounds in the development of new-type batteries that would have to work longer than existing ones. Last year, Dyson acquired Sakti3 , which created solid-state batteries.

Last year, in one of the interviews, Max Conze, director of Dyson, hinted at the possibility of developing an electric vehicle in the depths of an organization, comparing his company with Apple. In the end, both Apple and Google have even less to do with the automotive industry, and also work on their own vehicles.

Dyson, famous for its vacuum cleaners, fanless fans and Airblade hand dryers, has at least already designed and manufactures high-performance electric motors.

James Dyson (May 2, 1947) - is known not only as the founder of Dyson, but also as an inventor. His first project was the Sea Truck, a high-speed cargo ship capable of mooring to an unequipped shore or pier. Then he came up with a wheelbarrow with a ball instead of a wheel that gets less stuck in loose soil. Since 1978, James has been working on a new type of vacuum cleaner, and in five years he created the first G-Force cyclonic vacuum cleaner with a bagless technology.
