Now Telegram user can receive any book from Flibusta in electronic format to a mobile phone.
As you know, last summer, the Flibusta online library, one of the most popular libraries of this type in Runet, was
blocked . Ironically, the reason for the blockage was the spread of the book "451 Fahrenheit", as well as several other works of Ray Bradbury ("Dandelion Wine", "Martian Chronicles" and "Golden Apple of the Sun"). The work in question was translated into Russian, and still Soviet.
')
Almost immediately after blocking, the library administration transferred it to a new domain, switching from flibusta.net to flibusta.is. True, many books on the updated site are not available - you have to go towards the owners. Now the library has decided on the original move - the creation of a bot in the Telegram (protected messenger), which allows anyone to download books in electronic format. It seems that the bot owners of the requirements is not going to fulfill.
In order to get the book, you need to send the bot either the title of the work (part of it), or the author. In response, the bot will show the options that are available (and some of the books that are accessible through the bot are not available on the site itself). The list of works is indicated with the options of e-book formats (including epub, fb2 and mobi). As soon as the user selects the desired format, the bot sends the book in this format. After that, it remains only to download the file and open it with the reader.
A bot is available for everyone: @flibustamirrorbot
By the way, the same “451 degrees Fahrenheit” is also available in Telegram. Quite an original way to get around the requirements of copyright holders and give readers what they want. You can probably fight with a bot only upon request to the messenger support.
