Visa and Honda have created an application that can be used directly from the control panel of the car. It informs drivers of low fuel levels and builds a route to the nearest gas station. When the car is parked near the fuel pump, the application calculates the cost of refueling and offers to pay directly through the control panel.

Visa suggests that this technology has enormous potential, and within four years, about a billion cars will be connected to it.
