At the annual SXSW festival dedicated to music, film and media, Sony
showed off prototypes of devices being developed by the R & D division of Future Labs. This is a Concept N device, similar to a bluetooth headset and a collar at the same time, and a couple of interesting technologies related to projectors.

Concept N are the columns that the user wears around their necks. Four noise-canceling microphones are built into the device, so the other party should always hear you through the headset. After pronouncing the trigger phrase “Listen up Arc!”, The gadget begins to listen to commands and focus on the phone’s GPS to give information according to the user's location. Right now, the gadget can tell you about the weather, local news, give information about local restaurants and take a photo.
Yes, there is a camera in the gadget. Her eye is visible on the left. It is hidden by default in the case and opens if you need to take a photo.

The main focus Sony has taught Concept N is sound reproduction in a limited radius around the user's head. In this case, the user can hear everything that is happening around.

The next gadget is an interactive projector that mounts above the table and looks like a bluetooth speaker. The projector responds to user input and adjusts the depth with a camera aimed at the table. For the presentation, Sony offered to read the paper book “Alice in Wonderland” - the gadget enlivened the illustrations and pulled them from the pages on the table. Optionally, you could move the pictures, select and pull the text from the book on the table.

Another projector is equipped with a sound panel. In the demonstration, the gadget projected a UFO onto the wall - while the picture was flying, the sound followed it.
