China is going to launch 110 rockets into space in five years

In the next five years, China has planned to launch 110 rockets into space. This is the most dense launch schedule of missiles among all the space powers (which is becoming more and more). After five years, the country is going to implement lunar and Martian programs. At the same time, China is currently developing new models of Changzheng (The Great March) launch vehicles, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The first launch of the Changzheng-7 launch vehicle (the Great March 7) is scheduled for June this year, as reported by the deputy director of the China Research Institute of Rocket Technology, Liang Xiaohong. “The launch will be carried out from the Wenchang cosmodrome in the southern Chinese island province of Hainan,” says Liang Xiaohong. Earlier, he also reported that this booster will become part of the project to create a Chinese orbital station.

In 2014, the Chinese announced the details of their space program for the next decade. Planned own rover, a space station by the end of the next five-year plan and a heavy launch vehicle. Also, Chinese scientists plan to develop automatic stations to send to the nearest asteroids. We are talking about small autonomous robots that can move freely on the surface.

This year, in addition to the “Great March 7” missiles, the new generation “The Great March-5” missiles should appear. According to the developers, the rocket will be used "environmentally friendly fuel", as well as high-end technologies introduced. The heavy march-5 booster is the starting point in the implementation of the exploration of Mars. After 15 years, China should have a heavy booster, the parameters of which are comparable to those of the American Saturn-5 rocket.

The number of launches of Changzheng carrier rockets has already reached 224. The countdown began on April 24, 1970, with the launch of the Aleut Vostok-1 orbital satellite.
