Also, the developers claim that they are working on reducing memory consumption by applications and optimizing applications that work in the background, in particular, on expanding the functionality of the Doze mode. The owners of Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 and Pixel C (but not Nexus 5) will be able to switch to the new OTA version.
