Chip Review

Fingerprint scanner works well. To register a finger, you need about 12 touches. Unlock almost instant. Some feared that to activate you will need to hold your finger top down - this is not at all the case, just one touch is enough. However, if you keep your finger very flat all 12 times during registration, then when you touch it at an angle of 45 degrees and more, your finger may not recognize it. In general, work is very comfortable.

Other

The unpleasant surprise was that I couldn’t connect it by cable to PC on Windows 10 for 30 minutes. The computer stubbornly said that “the device was not recognized”, restarting the computer and phone didn’t help, and the USB Type-C cable was only one. Out of desperation, I tried to connect the phone to my MacBook, and it connected. After that, connected to Windows - everything began to work as it should. Hope it was a cant of new firmware.

Conclusion

It fits well in the hand, especially after the Galaxy Note 3, the case is light, but rather slippery - it is better to use the cover. Appearance can be controversial: a colleague called him the "illegitimate son" of the iPhone and Samsung. The fingerprint scanner works great, the lock is removed quickly and without errors. For speed no complaints. The camera works especially nicely: unlike Mi4, everything happens just instantly. The decrease in speed starts only in the Burst shot mode after 40-50 frames - the speed of photographing decreases due to buffer overflow. Otherwise, everything is fine.

In the current version, there is no Google Play and European languages, but after the presentation in Barcelona and hints on the Svyaznoy website, one can hope for an “international” version of the firmware.

Yes, the price can not but rejoice: the initial model costs 1999 yuan (~ US $ 305) in China.

- Slippery
- Marky, catches prints
- Temporary cable connection problems
- USB Type-C (not common)

+ The camera is very fast
+ Fast fingerprint scanner
+ USB Type-C (convenient!)
+ Works very fast

And do not forget to tell why the iPhone is still better!
