Chris Carter: X-Files are likely to come back again
Filming was hard
Fans of the X-Files already know that the latest episode of the tenth mini-season has ended on the most interesting place. However, the creator of the series, Chris Carter assured fans in the pages of the New York Times that the series "will almost certainly be back."
Fans, of course, could not have imagined that such a long-awaited return of the beloved series (the break was 14 years) would suddenly end so unexpectedly. Fox Mulder, - excuse me, David Duchovny, - only mysteriously wrote back on Twitter, "the truth has gone on vacation." ')
Carter said that he talked with the executive directors of the Fox channel, and he believes that with such ratings that the mini-season has put together, the show in one form or another is likely to return.
True, Carter said that the possibility of filming will depend on the central actors of the series. In a recent interview with Larry Kingu, Gillian Anderson, in response to a question about the number of episodes per season (6 in total), said that she simply could not afford more anymore - because of other projects and because of her family.
Carter argues that the X-Files always ended with a cliffhenger, so fans shouldn’t expect anything else.
