The story of misfortune from Logitech and small reviews of my devices
The world is full of stories about Logitech's legendary technical support, but either I'm not so lucky, or they are not as good with keyboards as they are with mice.
I brought my fly in the ointment so that other users do not have unnecessary illusions. Welcome under cat. 3 weeks ago, after six months of use, my Logitech G710 + keyboard began to die, the wire near the keyboard began to move away. I recorded a video and sent it to those. Logitech support.
The answer was a standard shift of responsibility to the seller. There is nothing wrong. If there is an opportunity to solve everything on the spot, then why not?

I carry this device to the store, and in a couple of days I was approved to replace the device. In the store, they tell me that since such keyboards are no longer sold, they will not be able to make an exchange on the cost of the keyboard at the moment. And they can either make a replacement on the price tag in the check, or return the money.
Article 24 p.2 of the law on consumer protection: When replacing a product of inadequate quality with the same product of another brand (model, article), if the price of the product to be replaced is lower than the price of the product provided in return, the consumer must pay the difference in prices; in case the price of the goods to be replaced is higher than the price of the goods provided in return, the difference in prices is paid to the consumer. The price of the goods to be replaced is determined at the time of its replacement, and if the consumer’s demand is not satisfied by the seller, the price of the goods to be replaced and the price of the goods to be transferred in return are determined at the time of the court’s decision to replace the goods.
I write about this in those. support for what I get an answer.
I did not get a love story with Logitech. The devices are smart, but as they say, there is one thing.
What I have in the end:
Poor quality device sent to the manufacturer;
The inability to repair it under warranty. A replacement is possible only for a device with a market value of 2 times lower, and this is a bad option.
My plans are to try to pick up the keyboard from the service center and repair it myself (if it were not for this quality forcing helpdesk on the network, I would not have thought of carrying it to the SC) or taking the money and buying an avito used mechanic.
Question: Who is to blame? Exchange rate, due to which the technology has become 2 times more expensive. A DNS that no longer sells such keyboards is available in Vladivostok, but they can only be sent within the Urals region. Or Logitech, which can not replace the broken goods.
Bonus - subjective reviews of my devices
Logitech G710 +
The hero of today Logitech G710 + is quite a controversial device in many ways. This is the first mechanical keyboard from Logitech. And this is the first experience, and stuffed cones. + Strictly enough looks + Quite quiet for mechanics, almost like A4Tech G800V + The presence of almost customizable backlight (1 color, 2 zones, 3 levels of brightness) + Convenient volume control wheel, pity it cannot be reassigned to the scroll ± Heavy ± Cherry Brown MX as it turned out was not what I was looking for. I thought the tactile response and pressing force would be stronger - Over time, the keycaps begin to fly off quite vigorously. - Too thick wire - Very bad Cyrillic backlighting
A4Tech G800V
This keyboard was released in two versions:
G800MU - PS / 2 interface, 15 UNINEXEXABLE additional keys, which are duplicates of the existing keyboard, 7 multimedia keys, headphone, microphone and USB connectors. G800V - USB-interface, 15 reassignable additional keys, 7 multimedia and ... everything. What is the logic of this separation of possibilities, if I honestly do not understand, possessed both. This post is written using G800V.
+ Perfect ergonomics for the gaming keyboard, a lot of buttons and no need to go far + Silicone AWSD and Arrows keys ± Not considered easy, but compared to G710 + fluff - Quite noisy for a membrane, almost like a Logitech G710 + - Eyes burning out cheap LEDs - Inadequate separation into 2 versions of the device, none of which has full functionality
A4Tech Bloody R7
A brief essay about what I would do with the developer of this mouse.
18+ Caution !!!Abusive language, scenes of cruelty and violence!
“I would have trophied the mouse and put it in ***! !!! Yes, right there. AND WOULD BREAK UP !!! ” That's how it burns me from the experience of its use.
Why? I'll tell you now: How in theory should the device sleep algorithm work?
After the last action, the timer starts working.
When the timer reaches a certain value, the mouse is sent to sleep.
How does he work in A4Tech Bloody R7?
The timer works, it just works, it always works.
When the timer reaches a certain value, the mouse is sent to sleep.
What is the difference? Yes, it is that it is regularly disconnected at the most inopportune moment when you work or play. I would not even stutter about this, if the mouse was not positioned as a game. I regularly want to break it against the wall.
Under the spoiler, what I played.Causes a narcotic effect.
+ Excellent response, before that I did not know that wireless mice are capable of such. + Appearance + Rich functionality, although I do not use anything except Core1. + Metal legs that will survive me, more than a year of use on the fabric carpet, even the paint is not erased ± Wireless. The home computer will not have wireless mice for the foreseeable future. - Inadequate sleep timer - Ergonomics. Too angular, from the protrusion on the back already hurts the wrist - The lid fell off on the receiver - Works in absolutely any device, even with Chinese DVRs in which 1 out of 5 mice is recognized
A4Tech X7
I don’t even remember how many mice I had (710, 718, 750, F6). None of them died their own death: gave, changed, sold, lost. But I have never met with problems because of which they are being driven by a wave of negativity on the network (dormant wheel and micro buttons). It's a pity A4Tech refused to use the D-pad in their mice, as in F6. I have not seen anything comparable so far that there are enough buttons and they are not confused. Razer Naga and Logitech M600 are not the most intuitive solutions.
