Video: Epson introduced Moverio BT-300 smart glasses at MWC 2016

Epson augmented reality glasses should brighten up the ride on the exercise bike and make the process of managing drones more interesting. The company introduced the BT-300 at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.

Si-OLED technology should provide a deeper black color. The gadget is built on a quad-core Intel Atom 5 processor with a frequency of 1.44 GHz and runs on Android 5.1. A 5-megapixel camera was added to the device instead of a VGA. The battery should be enough for 6 hours.

New glasses weigh a third lighter than the previous generation - 60 grams. For comparison, the Moverio BT-100, released in 2011, weighed 220 grams, and the 2014 BT-200, 88 grams.
