We will insist that he is wrong in this matter, ”said Pavlyuchik.

Such an epithet on the part of Klimenko was deserved by the right holders for not reducing the prices for legal content during the crisis: instead of 350 rubles for a new film on ivi.ru, you could put 30 rubles.

“When the course jumps, the incomes of people fall, it’s not right to demand - well, pay for the movie, and for the right holders to cut prices sharply. But they are not ready, they want money. To put it in simple terms: right holders demand their own, you can call them greedy ghouls or whatever. Not everything, but the general meaning is this, ”he said.

A week after the insults, the ghouls wrote a letter to the presidential adviser, demanding an apology. The letter was signed by ten people, including the director general of Channel One Konstantin Ernst, the head of Mosfilm Karen Shakhnazarov, the director of the STV film company Sergei Selyanov and the president of the Producers Guild of Russia Renat Davletyarov.

Hermann Klimenko replied that he was not going to read the letter, but did not refuse his words.

“Russian News Service” adds that during its telephone voting, 95% supported Klimenko’s position in this conflict, and 5% spoke in favor of the right holders.
