A powerful 9-watt light bulb provides a luminous flux of 920 lumens of neutral white for normal illumination and shines even in the ultraviolet to attract insects. Here they are in for a surprise: an electric grid around the perimeter that instantly kills animals. You can turn on the lamp in white or UV-blue, or simultaneously use both modes. Weak ultraviolet light is good to leave overnight. LED elements are rated for 50,000 hours of use.
