New WLM 9 details.

Many have seen WLM 9 Milestone 1. There have been enough changes since WLM 8.5 . But now the WLM 9 Milestone 2 screenshots appeared on the network, and new details about this IM client became known.

Personalization.



In the picture on the right, you can see that the title of the main window can now not only be painted in one color, but also put all sorts of different photos, backgrounds and so on.

Simplified title.



Removed all unnecessary buttons, such as Windows Live Call, Windows Live Today, Spaces , etc. No wonder, because these services were needed only 1% of WLM users. But they left and transferred to the right panel the counter of new letters in the Hotmail service. Very convenient, in my opinion.

Personal Status Messages.



The song you are currently listening to and your personal status can now be shown simultaneously.

New buddy icons.



Buddy- icons replaced with colored panels. Take a look at the first screenshot. Now the avatar of a person who is online is highlighted in green on the back. Orange color means that the person has moved away, and red, that the person is not online.

What's new



Now, in the main window of the program, you can see what's new with your friends, who among them added new photos to their album, who uploaded the file to SkyDrive , etc.

Tabs are now at the bottom, just above the advertisement. Looks much more aesthetically and functionally than before.

For each contact, you can set your own sounds when it appears on the network and sends you a message.

PhotoShare application.

Now it’s much easier to share photos. In PhotoShare mode, most of the window is occupied by the preview of one of your chosen photos, and on the right is a list of all available photos.
