Google picasa 3

Google released the beta version of Picasa 3. Initially, existing in the version for Windows, the program will be ported to Linux using Wine as well as the previous version. At the moment, the company has no plans to release a version for Mac, although Google does not say the opposite.

The new Picasa has a number of changes:

• New tool MovieMaker allows you to combine photos with music to create a video clip that can be uploaded to YouTube.

• New brushes for retouching will allow for "cosmetic" photo processing.

• Updated Collage tool allows users to compose many photos into one image. This time, users will have precise control over the location of the image, as well as moving, rotating and resizing photos.

• Internet sync. If photos were uploaded from Picasa to the PicasaWeb photo storage service, they can be edited later, including modifying tags that are synchronized with the web gallery.

• The new version of Picasa is built into the automatic face detection tool in the photo.
